Key stakeholders of Gautam Buddh Nagar unite for mega success of UP International Trade Show 2023

New Delhi, July 26, 2023: India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML), Greater Noida, organized a roadshow on July 26, 2023, as part of its promotional efforts to highlight the preparedness and vision of the upcoming UP International Trade Show (UPITS). The trade show, set to be held from September 21 to 25, 2023, at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, is a significant joint initiative between the Government of Uttar Pradesh and India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML).
Distinguished attendees at the roadshow included Senior Officers of GNIDA and NOIDA, UP Invest, Dept. of Infrastructure & Industrial Development of UP, officials of Udyog Bandhu, representatives of focus sectors, trade associations and chambers, relevant stakeholders, entrepreneurs, exporters, press & media, and the top brass of India Exposition Mart Ltd.
During the event, esteemed figures like Vishu Raja, OSD, GNIDA, Anil Kumar, Dy. Com. Industries, and Rajeev Dixit, Director, UP Invest, provided an insightful overview of the industries in the state of Uttar Pradesh, shedding light on its future potential.
Sudeep Sarcar, CEO, IEML, delivered a compelling presentation on UPITS 2023, outlining its goals and vision. The trade expo is meticulously planned to encompass a diverse range of business sectors, including MSME, Tourism and Hospitality, Health, Textiles, Agro and Food Processing, Start-Ups, GI tags from Uttar Pradesh, Toy Associations and Craft Clusters of Uttar Pradesh, Handloom and Textiles, Micro and Small Enterprise Cluster Development, and ODOP, among others. With an extensive product range, UPITS aims to become a one-stop sourcing destination for buyers while providing immense opportunities for exporters, entrepreneurs, and artisans. Sudeep Sarcar also highlighted the support received from the Union Ministry of Commerce in bringing overseas buyers to this sourcing show.
The roadshow received praise from Vipin Malhan, President of the Noida Entrepreneurs Association, who expressed his belief that the initiative taken by the UP Government will elevate industries in UP, particularly in Noida, to global standards.
