Laghu Udyog Bharati Distributes Blankets to the Needy Amid Severe Cold in Greater Noida

GREATER NOIDA News (02/01/2026): In view of the harsh winter conditions gripping Gautam Budh Nagar, members of Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), Gautam Budh Nagar district, along with prominent industrialists, organized a blanket distribution drive on Tuesday at the Flatted Factory Complex, Site-5, UPSIDA, Greater Noida. The initiative aimed to provide relief to underprivileged people who are forced to spend cold nights without adequate warm clothing or blankets.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Batra, General Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharati, District Gautam Budh Nagar, said that the industrial community has always stepped forward for social welfare and humanitarian causes. He emphasized that industries are not only engines of economic growth but also have a moral responsibility toward society. He further informed that several industry owners have pledged to organize another round of blanket distribution in the near future to extend continued support to those in need.

Gesu Maurya, Assistant Regional Manager, UPSIDA, was also present at the event. She appreciated the efforts of Laghu Udyog Bharati and its members, stating that such initiatives play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable sections of society during extreme weather conditions. She lauded the collective commitment of industrialists toward social responsibility.

During the drive, more than 300 needy individuals were provided with warm and cozy blankets. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and blessed the members for their compassion and timely assistance.

Several prominent members of Laghu Udyog Bharati and industrialists actively participated in the noble initiative, including Ishwar Kaushik, Sunil Tyagi, Rattan Deep Singh, Aseem, D.S. Chadha, Subhash Aggarwal, Shobha, Rakesh Kumar, along with many other members. Their presence and active involvement reflected the strong spirit of community service and solidarity among the industrial fraternity.

The blanket distribution drive once again highlighted Laghu Udyog Bharati’s commitment to social welfare and its resolve to stand by the underprivileged, especially during times of need.
