Mamata Banerjee government is threatening us: Chit fund Scam Victim

New Delhi: On February 14, hundreds of victims of Sharda Chit Fund Scam joined at Parliamentary Street in New Delhi to protest against Mamata Banerjee led West Bengal Government.



The protesters claimed that they were threatened by the ruling government not to protest against the ruling government in West Bengal against Chit Fund Scam, the government officials and state police thrashes them if they holds a protest demanding their money back they had invested in chit fund scam.

Even while protesting in the national capital, the victims said that their might be chances that the state government will lodge fake cases against them for protesting in Delhi, due the fear of identification the victims have their half faces with black piece of cloth.

The protestors also claimed that when the India’s federal agency CBI reached to investigate the state police commissioner Rajeev Kumar, Mamata Banerjee resisted the investigation through a sit-in against the agency.

A woman assumed to be in her forties, who has covered her face with a black cloth and doesn’t want to reveal her identity said, “she is bidi worked and her hard earned money was the victim of the mega scam, now she and her husband was threatened by the officials not to speak up on the matter, due the fear of losing life her husband has moved to some other place”.

The people chose the national capital to protest because they are free to speak her while in West Bengal if they protest, they will be a chance of getting fake criminal cases against them by the state.

In the protest, a woman claimed that a youth has been accused in 109 fake criminal cases against his name.
