Patna, 22nd June 2023: Before the mega meeting of key opposition groups in Patna on June 23, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav stated that many leaders are much more experienced than Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that everyone will express their views during the conference.

This comes as Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will gather key Opposition leaders as part of his ongoing efforts to form a grand alliance against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP-led government at the Centre ahead of the 2024 general election.

Addressing the media, Deputy CM Yadav said that the Lok Sabha elections next year will be fought on issues of the people and ‘not in the name of PM Modi.’

He further claimed that tomorrow’s meeting aims to set the framework for a coalition of like-minded Opposition parties to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government at the Centre.

In response to his efforts in the state, he stated, ‘This is a fantastic move; since Nitish Kumar and I have come together, we have sought to get as many opposition parties together as possible.’
