Massive Investment by companies in Noida Authority’s Industrial Area to generate about 1 Lakh jobs in coming years

In the coming 10 years city is expected to get flooded with job opportunities, as in recent UP Investors Summit over 10 companies had signed MoU’s for Rs 7227 crore investment with Noida Authority which would be generating massive number of jobs.
In this pretext Infosys was also allotted a plot but the company was delaying in submitting the construction plan to Authority but on Tuesday this important formality was also completed.
Investment from Infosys will be of five thousand crore and after including other companies investment the total amount will be around 12 thousand 227 crores.
It is being expected that companies setting up their bases after theae investments will be able to generate around 1 lakh job opportunities.
The Authority had released the industrial plot scheme in Sectors-155, 156, 157 and 159. Under the scheme, 122 industrial plots of less than five acres were allocated to the companies like Aflatus Graphic Pvt Ltd, Dharmapal Prem Chand Limited, River Engineering Pvt Ltd, Murali Projects Pvt Ltd Frug Tales Pvt Ltd, Baba Global Limited, Gaurav International, West Way Electronic Ltd.
A total of 2 lakh 5 thousand 385 square meters of land was allocated to these companies. In which a capital investment of one thousand crore will be done directly and indirectly and almost 35 thousand people will get employment opportunities.
Similarly, more than five acres of plots were allotted under open scheme. It includes nine plots which were given to nine companies. Authority allocated 5 lakh 28 thousand square meters of land to the companies which will be making an investment of 7227 crores.
Investment of these companies will provide employment to 58 thousand 941 people. However, on behalf of the Noida Authority, it is claimed that this investment is likely to generate employment for 1 lakh 15 thousand people directly and indirectly in Noida.
In upcoming 10 years Infosys will establishes whole setup and become operational which will also create many jobs in the region and will also generate huge amount of revenue for state government.
