MATA BHAGWANTI CHADHA NIKETAN’s Special Students Showcases special talent

Noida: It has been 18 years that Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan India’s largest school for special children has been enabling the ‘Children with special needs’. To Commemorate the achievements, the school celebrated its 18th Annual Day on Thursday.
On this occasion a cultural programme was presented where this Niketan’s students showcased their talents.
With dance programmes by highlighting the theme ‘Yaadein Bachpan Ki’ the students enthralled the parents and guests.
It started with the famous Bollywood song ‘Jungle Jungle Baat chale hai Pata chala hai’ where these specially-abled children danced with the tune. The audience consisted of parents, guets and the media clapped to motivate students.
Then another program was about harmfulness of mobile phones where these young kids touched the hearts of hundreds of audiences.
On this momentous Occasion, the school Vice Chairman Mr. Manpreet Singh Chadha launched VAAKA, a picture based application designed for people who are speech impaired or affected by autism, cerebral palsy and various other mental and physical problems.
The vice chairman also launched another e-commerce Shopping portal which allows customers to buy hand made products made by the special children of the school under their program ‘SWAYAM’.
Launching the e-commerce portal and the application, Manpreet Singh Chadha, Vice Chairman of the foundation said, “it was basically my father’s vision to create an environment where children with special needs could become socially and economically independent,” the vice chairman said.
Talking about the application he said that these two applications will help the specially-baked children in communicating efficiently.
He further added that the income generated from the e- commerce portal will be given to students for their skill development as an encouragement for their hard work.
“its just a journey, we want to take these specially-abled children forward in a digital way,” the Manpreet said.
He said that it is a kind of visual aid to these children so that they can use such app in their lives to be like an independent persons.
