Mayawati likely to sack 8 office bearers for the poor performance in LS polls, summoned meet tomorrow

New Delhi, (2/6/2019): BSP supremo Mayawati has removed party’s election coordinators of six states and state Presidents of two states, supposedly for the poor performance in the Lok Sabha Elections.



The BSP chief has removed the coordinators of Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Odisha.

She has also removed the state Presidents of Delhi and Madhya Pradesh, where the party had not won even a single seat.

Mayawati, who is said to be ‘very upset’ with her party’s performance in the Lok Sabha elections, has summoned a meeting of office bearers from Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha in Delhi on Monday.

The meeting with office bearers from Uttar Pradesh will take place after the meetings with other state leaders are over. She will take feedback from party leaders about the reasons for the party’s poor performance in the elections.

Mayawati, who is staying in Delhi these days, is unable to comprehend the reason for the party’s miserable performance.

The BSP in alliance with Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal won 10 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh only and was unable to win a single seat in other states.
