February 25, 2023, New Delhi – The 4th Ayuryog Expo & State Arogya Fair 2023 is being organised in Varanasi at Deendayal Hastkala Sankul Trade Facilitation Centre from 24-27 February 2023, by India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML) and Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH). The event has received active support from the Ministry of Ayush and Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, Government of Uttar Pradesh alongwith leading organisations like Banaras Hindu University as university partner and Vishwa Ayurved Parishad as academic partner.

The fair was inaugurated by Ajay Bhatt, Minister of State, Ministry of Tourism & Defence, Govt. of India as Chief Guest in the presence of Dr. Daya Shankar Mishra ‘Dayalu Ji, Ayush Minister, Uttar Pradesh as Guest of Honour; Rakesh Kumar, Director General EPCH & Chairman – IEML; Dr. Nitin Agrawal President, Organising Committee Ayuryog Expo, Vice President, Vishwa Ayurved Parishad; Guruji Dr. H R Nagendra, Chancellor SVYASA; Dr. Yogesh Mishra, National Organising Secretary, Vishwa Ayurved Parishad; Dr. K N Dvivedi, Dean Faculty of Ayurveda, Banaras Hindu University; Dr. Manoranjan Sahoo, Padamshree & Retired Professor of BHU, Professor Sibaram Khara, Vice Chancellor, Sharda University, Dr V S Chauhan, CMD, Prakash Hospital and Institute Noida and R. K. Verma – Executive Director EPCH.

Rakesh Kumar, Director General-EPCH & Chairman – IEML said, Ayuryog Expo is the India’s prime event that focuses on Handmade Products, Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy, Herbal, Agro, Natural, fitness and wellness products and services. The platform has been connecting suppliers with buyers. The expo is pioneer in gathering Ayush, organic, natural & wellness trades in the region. Ayuryog Expo 2023 will also comprise of Keynote Knowledge Sessions, Paper Presentations, Conferences, Competitions, and an integrated Exhibition for the businesses.

Raj Kumar Malhotra, Chairman-EPCH said, this Expo is a joint endeavor by India Expo Mart Limited and Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts to bring the world to India, the cradle of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy. This event will connect the best of natural health and wellness experts, academic institutions, and thought leaders from across the globe.

R. K. Verma, Executive Director – EPCH, informed Council is participating in 4th Ayuryog Expo with the support of O/o Development Commissioner (Handicraft), Ministry of Textile, Govt. of India. The 4th Edition of the show is taking place in the Religious capital, Varanasi from 24th – 27th February, 2023. EPCH is participating with 20 member Exporters and Artisans. The Participants are from Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat, Delhi and Assam and displaying their handicrafts such as Yoga Mats, Meditation Mats, incense sticks & Aroma products, Wellness Products, Copperware, Brassware and Natural Fibre Sustainable products.

EPCH is a nodal agency for promoting exports of handicrafts from the country to various destinations of the world and projecting India’s image abroad as a reliable supplier of high quality handicrafts goods & services. The Handicrafts exports during the year 2021-22 was Rs. 33253.00 Crores (US $ 4459.76 Million) registering a growth of 29.49% in rupee term & 28.90% in dollar terms over previous year, informed Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General EPCH.
