MoUs Signing Between AXIS Bank And BIMTECH For Launching A Co Created Curriculum On Diversity, Equity And Inclusion (DEI)

BIMTECH is proud to announce the successful signing of an MoU with Axis Bank for launching a co- created course around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), titled, ‘Building and Leading Inclusive Organizations’, in an online ceremony on March 9th 2022 at 4:00 pm, in the benign presence of  Ms Rajkamal Vempati (Head, HR) and Ms Vaijayanti Naik SVP-Whole Sale Banking and Head-DEI,  Harish Nair, AXIS, Bank, Dr Subrat Kumar, CEO Peoples Lab & Advisor to Axis Bank, Dr. H. Chaturvedi, Director BIMTECH, Dr. Anupam Varma, Deputy Director, Prof. KK Sinha, Dean Executive Education, Dr. Arunaditya Shay, Dean Research, Dr. K C Arora, Registrar, senior faculty and OB,HR AREA faculty and other faculty members, BIMTECH including Dr. L Ramani, Dr. Gagan Katiyar, Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Dr. Navin Srivastava, Dr. Manosi Chaudhary and Prof. Saloni Sinha etc. Dr. Himanshi Tiwari will be delivering the course in partnership with AXIS Bank. 

As a responsible employer Axis Bank has taken it upon itself to address the issue of diversity, equity and inclusion at the educational institutions. The “Women in Motion” program is a manifestation of the same. Starting a year ago on 8th March 2021, the program has reached out to more than 10,000 students across 44 educational institutions. BIMTECH is a strong promoter of SDG 4,5, 8 and 10 and carries the legacy of its patrons from BIRLA family for co-creating an equitable and sustainable society.

After the successful completion of the global Rainbow conference, BIMTECH pioneered in introducing a dedicated course on DEI in collaboration with AXIS bank’, in line with their VMV. The two organizations joined hands together for a cause so relevant in today’s world.
