Navi Mumbai becomes the first city in Maharashtra to complete 100% Covid vaccine in Adults

March 13, Mumbai: Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra has become the first City to complete 100% Covid-19 vaccination of both the doses Innoculated in adults. on Saturday, it was informed by the civic body that citizens about 18 years in the city are fully vaccinated.

Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has surpassed the target of 11,07,000 immunization of citizens above 18 years of age given by the government to the corporation and so far has completed administering both doses to 11,07,454 citizens.

Earlier Navi Mumbai was the the first municipal corporation to complete 100 percent vaccination of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

In order to make it easier for the citizens to get vaccinated near their homes, the civic body has set up around 111 vaccination centres.

“Although the effects of Covid have diminished, senior citizens should use these centres to take their third dose for increased immunity against the virus.” Said Abhijit Banger as quoted by HT.
