Nehru called Shivaji Maharaj a misguided patriot and later apologized for it : UP Governor Ram Naik

Presiding over a function to Honor the biographer of Shivaji Maharaj, UP Governor Ram Naik recalled and incident and said, "Jawahar Lal Nehru once called "Shivaji Maharaj" a misguided patriot in one of his book.

At this the whole Maharashtra strongly objected and people fiercely protested. Hence Nehru had to apologise to whole nation and all books were recalled and this line deleted".
