New Delhi (17/04/2023): For thousands of users, the Netflix streaming service was unavailable on 16 and 17 April. According to a Reuters report, more than 11,000 US streamers were unable to access Netflix.
Downdetector a website that tracks website outages tweeted on 17th April at 5.30 AM(IST), “ User reports indicate Netflix is having problems since 8:01 PM EDT.
According to the Downdetector website, 87% users faced issues while streaming, 9% faced problems on the website functioning and 7% faced issues on the Netflix app.
Many people complained on Twitter about the difficulties they were having accessing Netflix. One user stated, ‘I had an entire set up ready to go, but Netflix let us down’ , while another wrote, “I’m impatient.”
A third user questioned how Netflix could raise its fees while also attempting to cut down on password sharing but unable to stream live television. “Netflix has forsaken us down here!!!” wrote a fourth user during the outage.
