India’s First Solar Car Rally kicks off at Galgotias University

Greater Noida, 17th April: India’s First Solar Car Rally, Electric Solar Vehicle Championship – 3000 season 1 and E Bike challenge season 3, organized by Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIEINDIA), co-organized by Galgotias University was inaugurated in the opening ceremony held at Galgotias University.

The opening ceremony was held in the presence of Dhruv Galgotia, (CEO, Galgotias University), Vinod Gupta (President, ISIEINDIA), Prof. Prakash Joshi (Founder and Joint Managing Trustee, MIT Group of Institutions), Dr. K. C. Vora (Emeritus Professor, COEP Technical University), Praveen Kumar (Sr. HR Officer), Amit Singh (Customer Succes Manager, Altair Engineering), Akshay Kumar (Head Business Development, E Fill Electric and Charging Solution)

1st Season of Electric Solar Vehicle Championship 3000 (ESVC 3000) – India’s First Solar Car Rally and 3rd Season of SIEP E-Bike Challenge that is happening at Galgotias University this year. ESVC and E-Bike Challenge is a design and manufacturing of Solar Electric Vehicle and Electric Bike event under ISIE Design Regulations so as to compete with other teams all over the country from different organizations. The objective of the event is to promote Motorsports as a profession in India, Passion, Creativity, Innovation and practical approach based technical skill in engineering/diploma students. Electric Solar Vehicle Championship and SIEP E-Bike Challenge competition held with a technical guidance and support by the highly professional organizing committee and Technical Committee, scrutineer from different reputed Motorsport organizations and automobile industries.

Electric Solar Vehicle Championship 3000 is planned on the theme of World Solar Challenge, Australia. It is India’s first Solar Vehicle Challenge covering 350+ KM in 3 days from Galgotias University to Agra to Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Gr. Noida.

Self Designed and Manufactured Solar Vehicles by approximately 1500+ engineering graduates from 25+ Top Institutes and 15 states of India will travel on road. This event will create a significant impact among society for Electric Vehicles adoption through rally, Media Presence and Government Engagement. Thus providing a platform to students across India to learn and improve their skills about new technologies, renewable energy and innovation which will help to promote the E-Mobility and Green Energy. This rally will enable our budding engineers to grapple with real-life applications and improve their skills related to design, analysis and problem solving besides enhancing their interpersonal skills and self-confidence. This will also create awareness among younger generation towards Sustainable Mobility.
