Greater Noida –30th October 2021 – True to its reputation of being the ‘World’s Largest Congregation of Handicraft Exporters’, the 52nd edition of IHGF Delhi Fair-Autumn 2021 being held from 28th to 31st October 2021 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida Expressway, is gathering the world under a single roof. An iconic international connect to India’s leading manufacturers for home, lifestyle, fashion & textile segments, this trade appointment in India has been a sustained, proven and continued resource for importers, wholesalers, retail chains and design professionals since two and a half decades.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship & Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, visited the fair today. During his visit he said “Technological advancements and training skills should go hand in hand and it’s always our effort to expand and promote the traditional skills of India,” he added that he was deeply impressed by the product display at IHGF Delhi Fair – Autumn 2021 and wished success for everyone at the show.

Buyers in good numbers have already visited the fair during the first three days. Very pleased with their visit, they share their interest in placing orders with their regular and new exhibitors at the fair. Many have also shown interest in product innovations and new ideas by upcoming entrepreneurs and first time participants. They have appreciated the organizers for all arrangements and norms observed at the fair.

Mayumi Koyama, from Tokyo is happy to attend the show where she can touch and feel the textures of textiles and furniture. She has already placed her orders with exhibitors at the fair. The virtual shows were commendable as they kept businesses afloat but it feels good to attend in-person, she says. Imre Torma from Netherlands says the fair is ‘important’ to get new ideas, designs product-wise and see what’s coming up among suppliers here.
Awards for Best Performing Institutes & Training Partners of Handicrafts and Carpet Sector Skill Council (HCSSC) Felicitating the winners, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship & Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, applauded the industry stakeholders for their contribution and efforts in shaping up the MSME sector with hand holding, nurturing and skill development in artisans & entrepreneurs. Speaking on the occasion, Arshad Mir, Chairman and Member of Governing Council (HCSSC) shared that HCSSC along with its stakeholders has achieved the milestone of training and certifying over 3,00,000 trainees across India under several schemes and job roles of the sector.
Seminars by leading industry professionals and international consultants on topics like Packaging Solutions for Handicrafts Sector by Madhab Chakraborty of Indian Institute of Packaging and Furniture & Accessories Trends 2022 by William J Grace, President, Southernsky Resources, USA were well attended.

This edition of IHGF-Delhi Fair, spread across 8 halls and 900 Permanent Showrooms at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida Expressway, brings together more than 1500+ exhibitors for home, lifestyle, fashion, textiles and furniture. On display is a comprehensive selection of over 2000+ new products and more than 300 design expressions spanning across 12 product categories such as houseware, home furnishing, furniture, gifts and decoratives, lamps and lighting, Christmas & festive décor, fashion jewellery & accessories, spa & wellness, carpets and rugs, bathroom accessories, garden accessories, educational toys & games, handmade paper products & stationery and leather bags.
