New Delhi: India defeated Bangladesh and confirmed their place in the semi-finals. With the loss to India, Bangladesh has been out from the World Cup. Team India has become the second team to make the World Cup semi-final after Australia.
Talking about Point Tables, Team India has taken a long leap lead by Virat Kohli and has occupied the second position. India, despite tremendous performance, has won six out of eight matches, losing one and losing one matches. Team India has now occupied second place with a 13 points and fantastic run rate of +0.811.
Jasprit Bumrah, after India’s 28-run win over Bangladesh at Edgbaston, admitted that his accuracy with the yorkers is all about working hard during training and doing the hard yards.
"I do it again and again and again in the nets. So the more you do it, you get decent at it. You can’t master it," said Bumrah when asked how he has again made the block-hole delivery fashionable at the death.
Qualifying for the semi-finals with a match to spare affords India the luxury of resting their strike bowler for Saturday’s group clash with Sri Lanka but Bumrah does not want to put his feet up.
"This is my first World Cup so I’d like to play as many games as possible. The more matches you play, the more you enjoy."
