Noida Authority starts new initiative to aid L1 Covid facilities in the city

Noida, 5th May: In an attempt to aid the efforts of those RWAs and AOAs who are setting up L1 Covid facilities in the city, the Noida Authority, under its latest initiative, has taken the charge of refilling their empty oxygen cylinders.

The community center in Sector 93B has been designated as the center for collection and distribution of oxygen cylinders. The refilled cylinders can be collected by the RWAs and AOAs during 8 to 11 in the morning, whereas the empty cylinders can be dropped at the venue during 3 to 6 in the evening, a press statement informed.

The press statement further clarified that the service is avivabvle only for those RWAs or AOAs who are running L1 Covid facilities in the city, and not for any individual or organization.

The empty cylinders will be sent for refiling to Haridwar, Hamirpur or wherever the oxygen is avivabvle in the state, and the refilled cylinders will be dropped at the Sector 93B community center within 24-36 hours.

Two officers on special duties, a police inspector and two senior managers have been appointed to coordinate with the RWAs and AOAs in the city. Each official has been asked to ensure timely delivery of the refilled cylinders to the residents groups.

On Tuesday, a truck carrying 100 empty oxygen cylinders left for Haridwar and is expected to soon reach Noida with refilled cylinders.
