Noida buyers not very hopeful of RERA, call for more refinement of the act

“RERA is only helpful if it is adopted in its fulfillment. The guidelines that center has passed last year can be helpful but if only all of them are adopted in similar manner by the state”, said a representative of Noida flat buyers association.
He further said that there is a lot of confusion regarding the act and there is no clarity about its administrative structure.
Another buyer Vipin Gupta said, “There was no regulation before as there was no such rules before. This bill gives us some rights and we are hopeful that it is going to help the buyers”.
Some others were of the view that it will take time to realize the effect of these regulations and act and it is too early to comment on the same today.
