Noida, 30th December: In an attempt to further improve the cleanliness of the city, Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari is soon going to implement a new plan.
As per the plan, Noida will now be cleaned in two shifts, much like Indore, the cleanest city in India. The first shift will begin at 7:00 am in the morning and the second shift will begin at 3:00 pm in the noon. This work plan will most likely improve the cleanliness in Noida City, said the Officials.
Till now, the cleanliness work was being done in only one shift, from 7:00 am – 3:00 pm. But now it will be done in two shifts.
Authority officials complained of people throwing the garbage in the afternoon which affected the cleanliness of the city. Now with this new system, cleanliness will be better managed. In Indore, which has ranked number 1 in Swachh Survekshan in past many years, the cleaning is done in two shifts, therefore the system there remains better.
