Senior officials of Noida and Greater Noida authority will be meeting with the UP government appointed three ministers committee in Lucknow on November 8. Noida Authority Chairman and CEO Alok Tandon and Greater Noida Authority CEO Debasish Panda are expected to take part in this meeting.

As per sources the meeting has been called to discuss the current position viz-a-viz flat delivery promise in the Noida and Greater Noida regions.

It must be recalled that CM Yogi Adityanath had also met the three minister committee and senior officials of Noida-Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority on September 12. After the meeting it was announced that government will ensure delivery of 50,000 flats in the region by December.

However as of now the builders haven’t been able to come up with any practical model to implement this promise. CREDAI along with many builders also met with the authority officials some days back and demanded zero period, in order to complete pending flats in given time.

Both the authorities are expected to present a progress report detailing the pending and completed work so far.

After the meeting with CM on September 12, the delivery of 16,000 flats in Noida and 34,000 flats in Greater Noida was promised, however months after the meeting nothing much has changed on the ground. Many builders are claiming an acute fund crunch and aren’t been able to resume the stuck projects.

Noida Authority officials claim that 1,500 flats haven been delivered in last two months and around 8,000 flats are in last state of completion and will be delivered in next three months.
