NOIDA: Greater Noida and Noida Authority chiefs have been called to Delhi for another review meeting with three ministerial cabinet committee. The authority officials have to apprise the ministerial board of current status of flat delivery schedule.

The committee was formed by UP CM Yogi Adityanath primarily to resolve Noida’s infamous builder-buyer deadlock. In August during a similar meeting held in Lucknow in presence of UP CM, the flat delivery target was fixed at 50,000 units to be delivered by December 2017. The decision was taken after due deliberations with Builders, Authority officials and the three ministers. However as per the present ground situation, the anxiety among the buyers hasn’t seized to exist.

The meeting which is scheduled for December 4, 2017 will take place in Delhi, same as last two meetings of the committee.

Both Noida and Greater Noida authority officials are preparing the detailed reports of the current scenario together with a timeline of progress in schedule.

Greater Noida Authority CEO has already held two consecutive meetings with the Builder fraternity and had given very strong worded message against any delay in committed schedule.

Since August 2017, 35 builders have applied for completion certificated with the Noida Authority, however many of them have been put on hold due to various technical reasons. It is expected that these builders will soon work upon the objections raised by the authority on the completion certificate and around 20,000 home buyers might be benefited by the same. Since after the formation of ministerial committee the Greater Noida authority has already ensured possession of about 5000 flats to the homebuyers.

Similarly, Noida Authority had promised the delivery of around 10,000 flats by December 2017. Till date however only less than a quarter of promised number has been given to buyers for possession. Officials however are optimistic about the given schedule and claim that around 5000 more units are on the verge of completion and Builders are positive to give possession by December.
