Noida MLA Pankaj Singh takes stock of unified Covid control centre, issues directives

Noida: Amid a surging second wave of Covid-19, administration in various districts is trying to put its best foot forward to break the chain and to ensure adequate medical help to citizens.

With similar aim in mind, a unified Covid control and monitoring centre has been established in Noida. City MLA Pankaj Singh on Thursday inspected the centre and took stock of how different covid related aspects are being monitored from a newly setup ultra modern centre.

Singh was accompanied by Noida DM LY Suhas. He also directed the district magistrate to ramp up efforts to provide better facilities in terms of medical help, oxygen supply and medicines to the needy residents of the district.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh has reported 29,751 new COVID -19 cases in the last 24 hours, the health ministry said.
As per the ministry, Uttar Pradesh is among the eleven states that cumulatively account for 78.26 per cent of India’s total active cases. The state currently has 3,00,041 active COVID-19 cases.
