Noida, (12/3/2019): Residents of Noida have started a campaign to counter the problem of stray cattle creating disturbance in the flow of traffic across the city. The campaign called “Selfie with cows”, wherein the residents click selfies with cows and post it on twitter and tag the authorities.

The campaign was started by three residents, Amit Gupta of sector 77, Abhay Pandey of sector 121 and Sachin Goyal of sector 76.
The residents including some traffic volunteers clicked 4 pictures on Monday and uploaded them o. Whatsapp groups and Twitter handles. Some of the selfies posted by the residents have tagged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The residents have also identified multiple spots across Noida where cattle continue to occupy space. Which includes road between A and B blocks in sector 62, opposite the fire office in sector 5, DSC road opposite Kesar Garden Apartments in sector 48 and the NTPC underpass.
Meanwhile, with only two animal vans, Noida Authority seems to be ill equipped to tackle the menace of stray cattle.
