Noida’s Okhla eco zone delay upsets homebuyers

More than five months after the new contours of the no-construction zone around the Okhla Bird Sanctuary were finalized, a delay in the final notification is making thousands of homebuyers increasingly frustrated and restless.

With all legal and environmental hurdles in the way of getting possession of their flats in Noida now cleared, a buyers’ association as well as individual investors said they would hold protests in March if there was no progress on the final notification of the green zone.
