NOIDA’s woman of mettle – Manju Sud – inspiring journey of grit and dedication

There is no end to dreams and aspirations and if you blend it with right inspiration and efforts, there is nothing stopping them from turning into a reality.

And something similar happened with Manju Sud, president of Inner Wheel Club, Noida City.

She considers actor Dimple Kapadia as her inspiration as she finds much similarity between the life of Kapadia and hers. Soon after getting married to Rajesh Khanna, Kapdia, was forbidden to work in movies even after her first movie, Bobbie, became a big hit. And she made a comeback only after ten years with Sagar and later went on to achieve her dreams and do big.

In a similar journey, Sud, got married early in life, became a mother and as destiny would have it, have to lose her husband to blood cancer in initial years of married life itself. While the going got tough for few years, her hope kept her going and started a business with the help of her father.

In her first year itself, she bagged the prize of Best Business Women at India International Trade Fair in Pragati Maidan. Next year again she got a big boost in her confidence by winning the same award. And this was just the beginning, as more awards, accolades and recognitions followed. In Noida, she was also recognized as “Shiromani Mahila Udyami”.

Today, not only she runs her business as a CMD of SQPL Noida which deals in outdoor power equipments and manufacturing candles for hospitality industry but is also the president of Innerwheel Club (An international women organisation) for a third term.

A women of multiple talents, she has also published her first book in form of a poetry compilation titled, SAHIBA. Her music album, MERE SUR AUR MERE HI GEET, also earned praises from music lovers. She has also done a stage show in Noida with the name of MAAZA WITH MANZU, on the tune of Koffee with Karan.

Her mantra in life is to keep moving, keep achieving and keep winning. “There is light at the end of every dark tunnel, you only need right inspiration to reach for it,” she says.
