New Delhi: On Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri’s remarks, indicating MP Manoj Tiwari could be the BJP’s chief ministerial candidate for next year’s Delhi polls, the Aam Aadmi Party senior leader Sanjay Singh has taken a sharp jibe, saying the move ensures AAP will surpass its 2015 record of winning most assembly seats ever in the national capital.

Mr Puri, at an event on Sunday, said, the party was going to contest the Delhi Assembly election under the Delhi BJP chief’s leadership.
“We are going to fight the assembly elections under the leadership of Manoj Tiwari ji and we will rest only after making him the Chief Minister,” he was quoted by news agency PTI as saying.

While doing a press conference Sanjay Singh Said “It’s an announcement that we and public of Delhi were waiting for. Now it will be very easy for public to choose the CM of Delhi. As on one side their is man who provided schemes like free bus service for women, one crore rupees for any martyr, free coaching for students under Jai Bheem Yojna, Farishte Yojna. While on the other side is Manoj Tiwari, who says that they will stop free bus service and all such free service schemes started by the APP.”
