Ola cab driver having more than 21 case on him arrested by Greater Noida police

Greater Noida (23/01/2019) : Greater Noida Police had arrested an Ola cab driver accused in a looting incident attempted with an Engineer in which 60 thousand rupees from him was looted.



On December 22 over a tip-off from a police informer, Kasna Police had arrested the accused from ATS roundabout around 8:45 in the evening. The arrested accused was an Ola driver and a notorious kind of criminal that use to rob his passengers by overpowering them by using weapons. Mostly he use to snatch ATM cards of passengers and after accessing their PIN number forcefully, use to debit the cash from their accounts from any nearby ATM.

The arrested accused was identified as Narendra a resident of Dhankur under Gautam Budh Nagar district. Vaibhav Krishna SSP GBN told that “the accused has more than 21 cases registered on him under different police stations of the region. Earlier he was in jail but since December 2017 he was out on bail and once again had started committing the crime.” 

Further, he added that “We will write a letter to OLA in this regard, that how a criminal with such a long criminal history is working with them and why they dint had a police verification of them.”
The arrested accused is being sent to Jail after being presented before the court.
