One machine sealed at sector-105 Petrol Pump after inspection raid

(04/05/2017) Noida : One petrol vending machine has been sealed by district authorities after conducting a surprise raid at sector 105 petrol pump.
The action was taken after investing team of five members including technicians as well as an Oil company official together with senior administrative officials found a black spot on the pulsar card of the machine.
Others machines of the Sahaeed Deshraj Bandhu Petrol Pump were found clean and we’re left operational keeping in view the conviniance of the consumers.
The ongoing raids are being held as part of government directive to check for any anomalies at Petrol pumps.
This Indian oil petrol pump was alloted to the kin of Deshraj Mavi who was posted as a gardener in Parliament and had died in 2001 terrorist attacks.
DM Brijesh Narayan Singh and SSP Love Kumar also visited the petrol pump.
DM has said,” Prima facie we have found that one machine might have been tampered with. The dark spot in one of the pulsar card might have come due to some smoldering which is often a way to rig the dispensation meter. The particular machine is being sealed for now. Only after more investigation we can reveal with surety whether tampering has happened or not”.
Indian Oil official present during the raid also failed to explain the presence of dark spot in the machine hardware.
