Operation Muskaan unites 18 missing children with their parents in the district

Humanitarian side of the district police once again came to the forefront as district police united 18 children with their parents under operation Muskan .As per the direction of DGP Uttar Pradesh UP police had launched operation Muskan on 18th June under which missing children’s of the region have to be traced and handed over to their parents.

Operation Muskan will be running for another 2 months and had shown good results in its initials days. 18 children were recovered till now out of which 12 are girls and 6 were boys.

On the occasion, Avdesh Awasthi officer in-charge of Human Trafficking Unit said that along with circle level unit, 10 teams are working on this significant issue. These teams had visited around a dozen of districts in the state and each team is having one sub- inspector along with two constables. These teams are visiting different police stations, Child welfare committee, NGO, and collecting data regarding missing children’s and as they recover child they contact to their parents and make sure they are returned and united with their families.
