Orientation, Honour’s Assembly and Baisakhi Celebration By GHPS

NEW DELHI(13-4-14) Guru Harkrishan Public School, Hargobind Enclave organised Orientation Day for different levels of education i.e. Pre-Primary, Middle & Senior Segment. The programme started on an auspicious note with a  Shabad recitation followed by introduction by respective class teachers. Various guidelines were provided to the parents relating to the changes in uniform, curriculum etc. for classes VIth to IXth .

The school counsellor also guided about ‘Behavioural Problems’ and ‘Peer Pressure’ to help the parents in dealing with teenage problems. The aim behind organizing the programme was to bridge the gulf between the parent/school/ student by ensuring that all concerned got information to ensure that the academic session transaction would be smooth.

GHPS Hargobind Enclave also celebrated Baisakhi The programme started with recitation of Shabad followed by speech by Harsangeet Kaur of Class XII. The history and importance of the day was enlighten. Students who have excelled in sports, academics and cultural activities were honoured by the Governing body of the school. Children performed the cultural programme & spread the colours of Punjabi Culture by performing Bhangra which was appreciated by all.

Vice Chairman S. Jatinder Pal Singh, Manager S. Manmohan Singh and Principal Mrs. Jasmeet Kaur thanked the parents for the interest generated by them and assured them of ongoing support from the school.
