Orientation Programme of MBA Freshers at ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida

MBA Department, I.T.S. Engineering College organized Orientation Programme to welcome MBA Fresher Batch 2014-16 on 20th August 2014. The Programme started at 9.30 hrs by offering prayers to Maa Saraswati followed by Saraswati vandana by MBA II Year Students. A bouquet of flowers was presented by Dr. Vineet kansal, Director, I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida to the Guest Mr. Suneel Keswani who is a Motivator, Versatile scholar and a Trainer. He has been awarded as the Best Faculty of General Management & Communication Skills Sessions (GMCS) New Delhi for the year 2004, 2005 & 2006 of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Best Faculty of Secretarial Modular Training Program Sessions (SMTP) of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) , also awarded as the best Speaker on Human Rights Issues by SSP – Noida Police .
He addressed the students on Topic “How to become Successful in Life: The Success Mantra-Rise and Shine” . The lecture was very interesting and more so it can be called as interactive session. He explained what is life, one has to remain focused on the goals. To be successful, one has to remove the fear of facing the challenges which may be small or big. He made the students participate in his interactive session and motivated them by presenting a token gift chocolate at their best response. He quoted his live experiences , incidents and emphasized to maintain the attitude “ Can do “ . He asserted that life is very precious, live life to its fullest, be focused and fearless to accept the challenges and truth and to do their projects sincerely. They should keep update on the current industry trends and challenges through electronic and print media. He asked the freshers to focus on their goals and wished them a good start. Lastly, he gave a success mantra to all the students- “Rise and Shine”
Ms Himani Goswami gave a lecture on Time Management and tips on “Work smarter not harder”. The Programme continued with internal Orientation programme post lunch session whereby the students were briefed by Mr. Ankur Srivastava , Coordinator MBA who motivated the students how to under take work pressure and tackle difficult situations in life. The students were also addressed by Dr. Gagandeep Arora, Registrar ,I.T.S.E.C. He briefed the students about the facilities and College Infrastructure. The students were given information about Hostel facility, Lab & Library facility etc to make their onboard journey easy and comfortable. Prof L K Verma addressed the student ,informed them about the examination pattern and made students aware about Latest Exam Pattern. Ms. Anuja Shukla concluded the programme by presenting a video lecture on Life @ ITS.
