TN: What has been your biggest achievement so far?

Dr.P.L: The biggest achievement for me is when I do a procedure on my patient and make him happy and healthy. Believe me that give me as well as for any other doctor the biggest satisfaction.

TN: What is your success mantra for upcoming medical practitioners?

Dr.P.L: I think all the doctors should not think about money. They should adopt every patient as their own relatives. If the patient is of your fathers age treat him as your father, if he is of your age, consider him your brother. This kind of adoption should be in natural instinct of the doctor. If you really a doctor, be always nice to your patients.  If you work hard the financial gains will be automatic.

TN: Who are the people or great personalities that might have inspired you most in the life?

Dr. P.L: The most important people of my life were the teachers of my primary schools. Those people built my foundation. They used to encourage me and this encouragement was so much that I don’t recall any instance when I would have stood second in any test or exam ever. And all the credit goes to my teachers.

TN: What are your relaxation techniques and which is your favorite movie?

Dr. P.L: When it comes to relaxation again when I go into the Cath lab (The area where he does the procedures) I am relaxed the most. And when something which I thought is very difficult but I get to do it, I feel very proud and relaxed.

When it comes to other hobbies or something so I don’t think I have any. I do see movies occasionally. Y favorite one is a Punjabi movie titled, “Chann Pardeshi’.
