Padmavati Controversy: Every Theatre would be Vandalised showing Padmavati says Rajput Karni Sena Chief!

New Delhi: Padmavati was earlier slated for release on December 1 but got embroiled in controversy after the Karni Sena urged a nationwide ban on the film.

On the other hand The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) proceeded with the certification process of the movie and suggested the director to change the film’s title to Padmavat.

On Friday at a Press Conference in New Delhi, Karni Sena National President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi continued to threaten Everyone who is involved with the film.

“It was proposed that film will be reviewed by a panel of nine intellectuals, but the film was reviewed by only three persons. We are still on the same path, which we had chosen. We will start the protest again across the country.


The release of ‘Padmavati’ is only going to create chaos in the country. The government would be responsible for any loss of life and property following the release of this movie. Every theatre, where this movie would be released would be vandalised”, Said Karni Sena National President.
