With PC Gupta probe proceeding further, more co-accused face heat of action

Three more names have now faced heat of the 126 crore land scam that took place in Yamuna Authority region few years back. The three new names added by the police are of tehsildar Ranveer Singh, Chaman Singh and the then OSD V P Singh as these names were revealed by P C Gupta during the interrogation.
All of them are still serving in government sector and were absconding from their permanent address. Now Police will be adding their names in the charge sheet and will work towards accumulating strong evidences and documents against them.
Police has also zeroed out the piece of land over the map where scam was done, as the land is in Mathura a police will take PC Gupta there for the Geographical verification of the land.
Police is trying to gather more and more evidences as for now PC Gupta is in police remand for 10 days. As per the information police may also arrest the rest of the 21 alleged culprits who are named in the case. Seven teams of police are conduction raids for making these arrests.
While on the other hand YEDIA is also taking strict action over the incident and had expelled Brajesh Kumar, Manager int the Planning department of YEDIA along with two more staffs from their job after the suspicion of them being the part of the scam has come to light. During the investigation it was reveled that all of them were in touch with main accused and were probably passing information to him.
Brajesh Kumar was the member of the committee that was responsible for acquisition of the land. His signatures were present over the documents submitted by the committee and he was deployed through placement agencies in YEDIA in 2010. Other two staff’s assistant in land department Sher Giri and the typewriter Manoj Dutt were also expelled as they were also found guilty of supplying important information to the accused.
