PM Modi inaugurates Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Archaeological Institute at Greater Noida, criticises past govt. on terrorism

Prime Minister Modi during the inauguration of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Archaeological Institute took a jibe at corruption prone image of Gautam Buddha Nagar while asserting that the same has changed

Outlining the past corruption in Authorities of Noida and Greater Noida and said, “There were also days when Noida was known for corruption. Authority and Tender corruption made headlines in past.”

Talking about the development, he said, “The country and state is changing. There are large number of mobile manufacturing units in Noida- Greater Noida.”

He also mentioned the ongoing work for completion of Jewar Airport and said, “We are also working rapidly for the construction of Jewar Airport. Very soon the air services from Barielly will also resume as part of Udaan Scheme. Proper infrastructure is also very important for development. Hence we have laid the foundation stone of two power plants from here one in Khurja and the other in Buxar.”

Prime Minister Modi also invoked the recently conducted Air Strike at Pakistan’s Balkot and said, “At 5:00 am Pakistan itself tweeted that Modi has attacked Pakistan, but some in India started searching where is this Balakot, check youtube, check their websites it is still there where some Indians were doubting even Pakistan saying that Modi had struck in Pakistan.”

He took a jibe at the past government on the issue of terrorism and said, “Links of attacks and blasts earlier also were connected to Pakistan, but what did the earlier Government do? They just changed the Home Minister. Now you tell me, in such situations should the home minister be changed or the policy?”
