PM Modi’s address at Semicon India streamed live at Galgotias University
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Semicon India 2024 Conference today at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. On this occasion, PM Modi emphasized that this is the best time to invest in India.
The entire event was live-streamed for the students of Galgotias University at their “Vivekananda Auditorium,” where the auditorium repeatedly resonated with applause. The students listened attentively to the Prime Minister, and after the event, they shared their thoughts with the media. They expressed that the future undoubtedly belongs to India. The students pledged to contribute significantly to realizing PM Modi’s dream of a golden India, helping the nation reach new heights. They affirmed that by 2047, India will truly be the “golden bird” once again.
Semicon India 2024:
During the event, PM Modi reiterated that this is the best time to invest in India. India is aspiring to become a global player in the semiconductor sector, and PM Modi is fully committed to realizing this vision. He has stated that the future belongs to the semiconductor industry, and India will play a pivotal role in it on the global stage.
Preparing the Semiconductor Workforce:
At the event, PM Modi said, “India is the 8th country in the world to host such a grand event related to the global semiconductor industry, and I can confidently say that this is the right time to be in India… You are at the right place at the right time… Today, India assures the world.” He also highlighted the talent of Indian designers, who contribute 20% to the global design talent pool, with this figure continuously expanding. India is preparing a semiconductor workforce of 85,000 technicians, engineers, and R&D experts. The country is focused on equipping its students and professionals to be ready for the semiconductor industry.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath Participates in the Event:
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also attended the special event and remarked, “Under PM Modi’s visionary leadership, Uttar Pradesh has made significant strides in the IT sector, semiconductors, data centers, and electronics manufacturing, with new initiatives in these areas. As a result of the efforts made in recent years, Uttar Pradesh now produces 55% of the country’s mobile phones and 50% of its mobile components.”
