Post Corona world takes Yoga more seriously, says PM Modi at Heartfulness event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a programme marking 75 years of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission. He shared his thoughts with Heartfulness Guide, Daaji on the need to strike a balance between mental well-being and physical well-being.

Speaking at the event PM Modi started his address by congratulating the mission for successfully completing their 75 years. PM appreciated the efforts of the organization in the development of society and taking the country forward. “As Ram Chandra Mission is expanded globally in more than 150 countries and the new office (Shantivanam) of the organization which is constructed on barren land is all possible by the hard work of the volunteers who works tirelessly day and night for serving humanity. PM offered his tribute to Babuji (Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur) and said all the work is a live example of learning Babuji had given to the volunteers of this organization.

Talking about post-Corona word PM said, “Now the world has started taking Ayurveda and Yoda more seriously. The effect of the corona is gradually decreasing in India and the whole world is amazed by that. While the vaccine is controlling the Corona but on the other hand Yoga and the Ayurveda has also played a vital role in keeping people safe from the virus.”

“PM Modi further said that “In today’s 20-20 world, speed is very important and people don’t have time. So by offering such practices you are making a big contribution in keeping people physically and spiritually healthy through the easy way. Thousands of your volunteers and trainers are making the whole world aware of the skills of yoga and meditation; it is a great service to humanity. Your volunteers and trainers have realized the true meaning of learning.”

Heartfulness Guide, Kamlesh Patel, popularly known as Daaji will also shared his thoughts on yoga & meditation in this programme and quoted  “Realization of godliness, self, the Brahmam – everything can happen only in the folds of our heart. Today, our mission is flourishing all over the globe. It’s offered heartfully – that’s why it’s called Heartfulness”

Ram Chandra Mission is a non-profit organization which provides spiritual training to the interested seekers around the world. Through Heartfulness meditation, which has its roots in the Sahaj Marg system, it offers a way for balanced living in a heart-based way.
