President Murmu to inaugurate 7th Edition of India Water Week at India Expo Mart

Greater Noida (27/10/2022): More than 2000 delegates from across the globe will be joining the 7th Edition of India Water Week 2022 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, which is going to be one of its kind’s largest gathering.

The event will be inaugurated on 1st November by President Droupadi Murmu, who will make her first visit to the district as president.

Held for the first time in 2012, India Water Week is a regular forum wherein the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, and Government of India hold key talks with important stakeholders on building public awareness, implementation of strategies for conservation, preservation, and optimum use of available water.

The event will boast exciting exhibitions, enlightening discussions, seasoned experts and more and will serve as a great opportunity to learn more about “water security for sustainable development with equity”.

Set to be organized during 1st to 5th November, the event is all set to be an enriching event with main focus on the principles of sustainability and equity.

The key draws from the conclave are used to shape water conservation related policies and aim at promoting the idea of sustainable development.
