Legendary Music Mesmerizes Packed Audience at Pride of South musical night in Delhi

New Delhi: On Saturday evening India Islamic Centre New Delhi witnessed the magic of melodious South Indian tunes, when amazing singers performed live to recreate the touch of legendary singers.

The well-crafted evening had a plethora of amazing performances was jointly curated by Sparsh, Tri Group Of Music (Connecting Hearts) and Hes Harmony wave.

The aptly named event “PRIDE OF SOUTH” brought forward a mesmerizing amalgam of most famous songs of legendary singers Yesudas & SP Balasubramaniam along with the evergreen artists such as Mukesh, Lata & Asha. The songs were sung by the eminent singers of Delhi and NCR in front of a packed audience.

Ashok Srivastava , President Navaratan Foundations , Adviser Ten News  and a well known social worker did the compering of the program in his unique style. Srivastava who has been very instrumental in organizing great musical evenings and providing platforms to budding singers also motivated the singers. The energetic performances of the singers were always met by similar thundering applause of the audience.

The anchor of the evening Ashok Shrivastava also kept everyone in good humour with his regular anecdotes and kept praising the performers for their soulful renderings.

The splendid performances continued till late in the evening and audience members kept glued to their seat enjoying the same.

The other purpose of this event was to promote mutual understanding between different cultures and to provide everyone an opportunity to experience the musical heritage of southern states.

India Islamic cultural centre hosted the grand evening as venue partner.
