Punjab: Kejriwal announces dedicated armed force personnel at all religious places to curb sacrilege

Punjab (24/12/2021): On Friday, Kejriwal said that every gurudwara, temple, mosques and other religious places will have dedicated armed force personnel to stop sacrilege.’’

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was addressing a public meeting in Hanuman chowk, Gurdaspur. During his address, he promised that the party will ensure peace, security, brotherhood & unity among every cast & religion in Punjab, if it comes to power post Assembly elections in 2022.

He promised to take five steps to implement peace, security and unity in Punjab. Kejriwal said, ‘’We’ll ensure posting of honest police officers without taking bribes or without interrupting in between their honest works.”

He further said, ‘’Every bomb blast that took place in the past will be investigated & their masterminds will be jailed, we’ll ensure border security so that no terrorist can enter Punjab or no drugs can be trafficked from Pakistan. State-of-the-art technology for soldiers will be used to nab drones.’’

Lastly, he assured free electricity & Rs 1000 Monthly compensation to every adult woman.

Raman Bahl leader of Gurdaspur district, and other members of Aam Aadmi Party were present during the public meeting.

The 2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly elections will be held in February or March 2022 to elect 117 members of the Punjab legislative assembly.
