Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, IEML and ED, EPCH Inspires Students of Mahaveer Public School, Jodhpur

Jodhpur (26:11/2018) : Rakesh Kumar, International Exhibition Guru, Chairman of India Expo Mart Ltd and the Executive Director of Export Promotion Council For Handicrafts was the Chief Guest for the Annual Extravaganza at Mahaveer Public School Jodhpur.

The iconic personality of India’s exhibition space, showcased a path of light and optimism to the hundreds of students of the school, through his Inspirational Speech made during the occasion.

One of the most renowned school of the Jodhpur city, Mahaveer Public School had organised its ‘Annual Extravaganza 2018-19’ with zest.

The theme of the show was ‘Eklavya An Untold Truth’. The students showcased their creative talent, vibrancy and the zeal through a number of amazing performances, including welcome dance, cultural dance, School Activity Dance, Bahubali dance, Celebration Dance amongst others.

Most of the traditional and cultural performances revolved around the Rajasthani and Marwar concepts of sacrifice, pride, heritage and modern changes.

A cultural drama on ‘Eklavya An Untold Truth’ theme projected the mesmerising story of pain, hardship, failures and grief after which one finds true success.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Rakesh Kumar accompanied by the Chairman of the School Ghewar Chand Kanunga , distinguished personalities and the school principal Swati Mehta which was followed by the rendition of an orchestral performance, Saraswati Pooja and Ganesh Vandana. This was followed by the felicitation of the school and the subject topper students of various streams and grades.

Welcoming the chief guest and dignitaries, Mahaveer Public School, Principal Swati Mehta said,

“It gives me immense pleasure to welcome all today on the occassion of school Annual day. I’m honored to welcome today’s chief guest, Rakesh Kumar ji. Chairman of India Exposition Mart Limited and the Executive Director of EPCH. He is a pioneer for many schemes and conceptualised finest art infrastructure for exhibition at Greater Noida.”

Later during his address, Rakesh Kumar spoke about the importance of discipline in student’s life and how students can learn from the failures of the successful personalities.

While addressing the Gathering, Rakesh Kumar in his Inspirational Speech said,

“Today after seeing this program, I feel nostalgic about my school days, Though i’m still connected to my School through Alumni association and teachers. After seeing the Eklavya Play I felt the conclusion of the play has given a very big message to the students .”

He further emphasised that every child is special, “Every child has a unique quality we should not underestimate anyone. Every child is special child and their quality can be turned into excellence in their particular field. So we should give every child opportunities to move forward”.

Talking about the success and failures, Rakesh Kumar, spoke about the journey of the successful personalities from different fields and said,”If you read failures of a successful personalities you will learn a lot. If you see Akshay Kumar in the films, if you talk about sports personalities or be it politicians, all the successful personalities of current generation they all have faced a failure in their life. Akshay Kumar if I talk about him again, he was a waiter, Shah Rukh Khan failed in nine auditions before becoming the mega star that he is today, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was a watchman in a society and with his struggle became what he is today.”

“People said to Shah Rukh Khan that TV screen actor won’t get work on big screen but Shah Rukh Khan always believed in himself and said that he will be the king of the Bollywood and he achieved it. If I talk about M S dhoni and his humble background that most of us already know, there is so much we can learn from him. And Recently you have Mary Kom the 37 year old lady and a mother of 3 children, for the 6th time she won a gold after defeating a 22 year old boxer, she deserve all the applause,” added Chief Guest, Rakesh Kumar.

While talking Exclusively with Ten News about the Mahaveerians Annual Function, Rakesh Kumar said : “Annual Function of Mahaveer Public School was really an excellent event. I could realize , it was good team work done by them. Infact the play Eklavya was a major team effort anx we could see, that gave the message to the society about not only the role of Eklavya but also about the success and failures .”

He also awarded the mementoes and trophies to the students for their achievements in sports, cultural activities and social works, etc.

While heaping praise on the Chief Guest anf endorsing his excellent speech, Mahaveer Public School Head Boy and Head Girl said, “The best thing we liked was that he considered to be amongst all of us and the next thing we liked is, his stories that he narrated and the message that – you should not be inspired by the success stories but also be inspired by the failure stories as well”.

The beautiful evening of Mahaveer Public School culminated after leaving everyone inspired and motivated.
