Rangoli Utsav organized at Galgotias University on eve of Diwali

Greater Noida, 26 October 2024 – A grand Rangoli Utsav was organized at Galgotias University in the spirit of the auspicious festival of Diwali. On this occasion, the students gave a live demonstration of Indian culture, tradition and unity through various colorful rangolis.

In the Rangoli Utsav, the students displayed their art by forming groups. This year, environmental conservation, Indian traditional folk arts and social messages of Diwali were given prominence in the rangolis. The creativity of the students and the spirit of being Indian were clearly visible in every rangoli.

The Vice Chancellor, Professors and other officials of the University were present in the program. He appreciated this art display of the students and emphasized the need to preserve and propagate Indian culture through the art of Rangoli.

Motivating the efforts of the students, Chancellor of the University, Shri Sunil Galgotia, while extending his best wishes to all, said that “Diwali is not just a festival. But it is a symbol of our sacred culture and harmony. Such events make our young generation aware of our traditions.”

Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of the University, in his congratulatory message said that on the auspicious occasion of the eve of the holy festival of Diwali, I wish you all a bright future and Galgotias University today, through this Rangoli Utsav, spreads the message of unity, peace and love in the society. In our culture, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” is the basic sanskar and ideology of Sanatan Dharma which is written in many scriptures including Maha Upanishad. We have always talked about the welfare of all. Today, on the occasion of this holy festival, we pray to God for happiness, peace and welfare of all for the entire world.
