ReNew Power launches first corporate campaign in Gurugram to vaccinate employees, associates and their families

Gurgaon, India, April 7, 2021: ReNew Power Private Limited (“ReNew Power” or the “Company”), India’s leading renewable energy company, organised Gurugram’s first corporate campaign to vaccinate its employees, associates, and their families. The vaccination campaign was organised at Fortis Memorial Hospital in Gurugram.

The vaccination drive began at 10.00 am in the morning and saw almost 100 employees and their family members take vaccine shots. From ReNew Power, the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Balram Mehta and the President of Regional Affairs and Development, Colonel Pushkar Prasad were present on site to encourage employees and their families. On behalf of the hospital, Dr. Ritu Garg, Zonal Director, Fortis Hospital Gurugram supervised the arrangements.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Sumant Sinha, Founder, Chairman and CEO, ReNew Power said, “ReNew Power is a people centric organisation and has always stood by its employees. It is a matter of great pride for us that we were able to collaborate with the team at Fortis hospital to organise this campaign and offer vaccinations to our employees, associates, and their families in Gurugram. We hope that this will help reduce vaccine hesitancy in our communities.”

ReNew Power will hold this drive till all its employees and their families are vaccinated and will also extend this to major hospitals across key states so that its employees in remote areas can access vaccinations affordably.
