Renowned Author Suhel Seth Praises CM Yogi Model of Governance | Galgotias University

Greater Noida News (08 September 2026): Renowned author, brand strategist and commentator Suhel Seth praised the development and infrastructure in Noida and Greater Noida, lauding the governance model of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Speaking at Galgotias University, Seth said India needs strong, decisive and result-oriented leadership capable of turning ambitious plans into visible development on the ground.

Seth was at Galgotias University for the launch of his latest book, WTF India: Are We Losing the Plot?, as part of the university’s ongoing dialogue series that brings prominent voices from industry, public life and the world of ideas to its campus.

During the interaction, Galgotias University CEO Dr. Dhruv Galgotia asked Seth about his assessment of Uttar Pradesh’s infrastructure and the emerging ecosystem in the Noida-Greater Noida region. Referring to Seth’s recent social media post about Greater Noida and Uttar Pradesh.

Responding to the question, Seth said that his drive through Noida and Greater Noida that morning had left a strong impression on him. He praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and stressed that effective development requires strong leadership.

Seth said that India needs leadership that is convincing, tough, decisive and capable of getting things done. According to him, world-class infrastructure and rapid development are not accidental but are the result of clear direction, political will and the ability to execute decisions effectively.

Drawing from his own experience, Seth also recalled meeting PM Narendra Modi in 2008, when Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Seth said that following their one-on-one meeting at Modi’s residence in Gandhinagar, he had written that Narendra Modi would one day become the Prime Minister of India.

While discussing leadership, Seth clarified that appreciating strong leadership does not necessarily mean endorsing every aspect of a political ideology. He said he may not agree with every part of a political ideology, but genuinely believes that great leaders have the ability to change a country’s identity and global standing. He cited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership since 2014 as an example of how leadership can influence the direction and image of India.
