Renowned Dermatologist Dr. Silky Sharma Celebrates Birthday with Elderly Residents at Greater Noida Old Age Home

Celebrating her birthday in a unique and heartfelt way, Dr. Silky Sharma spent the day with the elderly residents of a government-run old age home in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. Dr. Sharma cut a cake with the residents, shared a meal with them, and celebrated her special day in their company. The event also featured a grand poetry conference with well-known poets and poetesses of the country.
In an exclusive interview with Ten News, Dr. Silky Sharma expressed, “The best celebration of your birthday can be done in an old age home. This is a place where you can truly celebrate your birthday. The love and blessings of the elderly are the greatest gifts one can receive in life. The blessings of elders are essential for progress in life, which is why I chose to celebrate my birthday here.”
Dr. Sharma credited her inspiration for this noble act to her father. “My father greatly influences me in social work, and it is because of him that I am here today celebrating my birthday. I am very happy to celebrate my birthday here, and the experience has been beyond words.”
Notably, Dr. Silky Sharma’s father, the social worker and renowned poet Advocate Mukesh Sharma, was also present at the occasion. He shared with Ten News, “I am very happy because today we celebrated my daughter Dr. Silky Sharma’s birthday with the entire family at the old age home. As a father, I always wish for my daughter’s bright future, but today, my daughter received the blessings of the elders here. There is no greater wealth in the world than blessings. We also organized a poetry conference today, featuring eminent poets like Anil Raghuvanshi, Amit Sharma, Kushal Kushwaha, Piyush Malviya, and others who spent time with the elderly and received their blessings.”
On this special occasion, arrangements were made for food for all the residents, along with the distribution of clothes, essential items, and financial assistance. The elderly residents joined Dr. Sharma in cutting the cake and showered her with their blessings.
