Rishi Singh wins Indian Idol 13, receives 25 lakh as Cash Prize

New Delhi (India), 3rd April 2023: On Sunday, the 13th season of Indian Idol’s winner was revealed. The music reality contest was won by Rishi Singh. After defeating Kolkata’s Debosmita Roy, who was named the first runner-up, and Chirag Kotwal from Jammu and Kashmir, who was named the second runner-up.

Rishi, who is from Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, took home the prize. Rishi received a brand-new car, a trophy, and a cash reward of Rs. 25 lakh in addition to the glittering winner’s trophy.

After competing against the other top 6 candidates, including Debosmita Roy, Bidipta Chakraborty, Sonakshi Kar, Chirag Kotwal, and Shivam Singh, Rishi Singh was named Indian Idol 13’s winner.

Along with the cash award, Rishi received a brand-new car, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The first and second runners-up, Debosmita Roy and Chirag Kotwal, respectively, each got a trophy and a check for 5 lakh. Bidipta Chakraborty and Shivam Singh, the third and fourth finalists, received checks for three lakh each.

The triumphant Rishi reacted to his feat and said, “The fact that I took home the Indian Idol 13 prize is unfathomable. The sensation is bizarre! When my name was revealed as the season’s winner, it was like a dream come true for me. It is an enormous honour to carry on the legacy of such an esteemed and beloved programme.”

He also expressed his gratitude and added, “I am thankful to the network, the judges, and the entire Indian Idol staff for providing us with such a fantastic stage on which to display our talent.
