Adrija Raj of Class VI of Ryan International School, Greater Noida participated in  the 8thIAFA Awards held at Doordarshan Mumbai . More than 50,000 entries all across the Nation were sent for judgment, Ms. Adrija Roy  won the best ad in the Environment category from the age group 11-13 years. Her ad showcased the environmental problems that the present generation is facing and the measures to overcome the hazards. The advt.  was related  to the various plantation techniques that the modern generation should adopt to make there lives a better place for living.
Ms. Adrija was felicitated by Dr. Jagannath Rao Hegde ( Ex Sheriff of Mumbai) and Mukesh Sharma ( ADGO Doordarshan , Mumbai). The other dignitaries present for the occasion were Honourable Governor of Maharashtra Shri CH Vidyasagar Rao and Managing Director of the Ryan Group Madam Grace Pinto. Mr. Vijay Darda- MP, Mr. PahlajNihalani –Chairman Censor Board, Mr. Gajendra Chauhan – Chairman FTII, Mr. A K Bir – National Award winning Director and Cinematographer, Mr. AnantMahadevan along with Jury Members, Padmashree Dr.MukeshBatra, Dr. Ram Jawhrani – Chairman Sahyog Foundation, Kiran Joneja Sippy and Mr. Arun Samuel were present to felicitate the young students.
Ryan’s IAFA is an ad film making competition where students from the age of 11 to the age of 21 years express their ideas, thoughts and views in a very special way by making a one minute public service message Ad film. Students from all over the country created different ad films under Environment, Health and Beauty, Safety, Women’s Empowerment, Child Nutrition and Water conservation Awards Categories.Principal Appreciated and congratulated the student motivated more children to make Ad films.The Parents also expressed gratitude and thanked Respected Chairman Sir A.F Pinto, the Managing  Director Madam Grace Pinto and CEO Ryan Pinto  for providing children with such wonderful opportunities where they go beyond the books and learn is the era of technology and equip themselves with the present trends and learn the art of digitization
