Greater Noida (14 September 2025): The Neh Need Foundation hosted its flagship annual social and cultural event, “Sarjan-2025”, at Mangalmay College, Knowledge Park-II, Greater Noida. The vibrant gathering brought together academicians, social activists, community leaders, and local families, making it a memorable day of service-oriented celebration.
The program opened with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana, setting a tone of devotion and positivity. The event was graced by prominent personalities including Padam Singh, Regional Prachar Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, who attended as the Chief Guest. Prof. Harish Bhatia, Director (HR & Operations) at Mangalmay Group of Institutions, presided over the ceremony, while Dr. Nitin Agarwal, Managing Director of Bliss Ayurveda India Pvt. Ltd., joined as the Special Guest.
Message of Collective Effort
Welcoming the audience, Kuldeep Sharma, Trustee and Program Coordinator of Neh Need, highlighted the importance of collective participation in social initiatives. No campaign can succeed without the joint effort of society. Neh Need is like a sacred yajna — the more people contribute, the more impactful it becomes, he emphasized, urging people to actively support the foundation’s mission.
Chief Guest’s Inspiring Address
Chief Guest Padam Singh elaborated on the vision behind Neh Need, explaining that “Neh” signifies love and affection, while “Need” symbolizes a nest or home — together forming a foundation of service and care. He lauded the foundation for creating a safe and nurturing environment where underprivileged children can grow holistically with education, values, and affection.
He said, Both children and elders seek love. When society provides a nurturing atmosphere, lives blossom. True service is not just through money, but through one’s time, guidance, and compassion, calling on citizens to dedicate themselves to the cause of nation-building through service. He stressed that society must remain sensitive toward children, who in turn should grow into responsible citizens.
Education as the Key to Empowerment
Special Guest Dr. Nitin Agarwal underlined the transformative power of education. Education makes children self-reliant. Such efforts will not only empower children but also strengthen the future of India, he said, commending Neh Need’s initiatives.
In his presidential remarks, Prof. Harish Bhatia praised the foundation’s contribution toward nurturing education, values, and character building. “What Neh Need is doing for children and society is truly commendable. It is a shining example of social responsibility, and every citizen should play a role in such initiatives,” he stated.
Honoring Social Warriors
The event also recognized and honored several social warriors from Greater Noida who have made significant contributions in the field of community service and welfare.
Concluding the program, the Neh Need Foundation team expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants, supporters, and dignitaries. They also announced upcoming campaigns and projects aimed at connecting more children with education, life skills, and values to prepare them for a brighter future. The event stood as a strong reminder that service, cooperation, and compassion are the true pillars of progress.
