School of Engineering, JRE Group of Institutions celebrated the Engineers Day on 15 septembert, 2016 to commemorate the birthday of the legendary engineer Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (1861-1962).The event was inaugurated at 2.00 P.M. by the chief guests Mr.Sudhakar Yadav Sr. Manager- Govt. & PSU Business at Matrix Cellular (International) Services Ltd., Mr. Ram Kohli, Vertical Governance Head (Retail, Consumable Goods and Transportation), Wipro Infotech, Mr. Anil Singh, Practice Head- Connectivity Solution, Wipro and Mr. Rishu Gupta, Co-Founder and Director, Josh Technology Group in the presence of Dr. C. S. Sharma, Campus Director, Dr. A. K. Taneja, Dean School of Engineering . The event was attended by the teachers, students and all staff members of JRE Group .The guests from media also graced the event. The distinguished speakers left the audience mesmerized through their inspiring speeches and boosted the morale of the students with their words of wisdom. Various events like TechQuiz, Robo-Race, Google about Google, The Innovators, Poster/Idea, Presentations etc were organized to mark the celebrations. The students displayed enthusiastic participation and amazing technical skills. The Chief Guests and College Professor lauded the efforts made by the students. The innovative projects prepared by the students captivated the attention of the onlookers and were highly appreciated.
