Scouts and Guides Programme Held at Delhi World Public School, Greater Noida

Greater Noida News (22/02/2026): A Scouts and Guides Programme was successfully organised at Delhi World Public School, KP-III, Greater Noida, on Thursday, with the objective of nurturing discipline, leadership qualities, teamwork, and essential life skills among students.

The programme was held in the esteemed presence of the school’s Director Kanchan Kumari and Principal Dr. Heema Sharma, whose guidance and encouragement added significance to the event.

The session commenced with a prayer emphasising unity, moral values, and social responsibility. This was followed by interactive activities such as welcome and appreciation claps, which helped create an atmosphere of enthusiasm and strengthened the spirit of teamwork among the students.

As part of the practical training, students were introduced to basic camping skills, including tent pitching, which highlighted the importance of coordination, discipline, and cooperation. Special emphasis was laid on developing self-reliance and adaptability—key principles of the Scouts and Guides movement.

A dedicated session on first aid and safety awareness educated students about handling emergency situations. They were informed about the necessity of carrying essential medical supplies during camps and outdoor activities. Additionally, guidance was provided on maintaining personal hygiene, consuming nutritious food, and ensuring adequate hydration for overall well-being.

The programme proved to be both informative and enriching, leaving students more confident, responsible, and better prepared to serve others. Through such initiatives, the school continues to focus on holistic development by equipping learners with practical skills and values that extend beyond the classroom.
