SERVOTEC CEO Talks About Revolutionizing EV Charging Infrastructure at EV India Expo 2024

Greater Noida (20 November 2024): The much-anticipated EV India Expo 2024 is currently underway from November 19th to 21st at the India Expo Centre, bringing together some of the biggest names and groundbreaking innovations in the electric mobility sector. This event highlights the rapid growth of the electric vehicle (EV) industry and the technological advancements driving its success.

While talking to Ten News, Prem Prakash, CEO of SERVOTEC Infra, a leading power solutions and distribution conglomerate, shared important insights into his company’s role in India’s EV infrastructure. SERVOTEC, which recently expanded into the manufacturing of EV chargers, has quickly become a dominant player in the market. According to Prakash, the company now holds a 57% share in the EV charging distribution market and about 26% of the total registered EV chargers in India.

CEO informed that SERVOTEC manufactures state-of-the-art, futuristic EV chargers, offering both AC (Alternating Current) and DC (Direct Current) charging solutions. These chargers come in a range of capacities, from 3 kW to the highest levels.

Prakash further shared that SERVOTEC is in the process of setting up over 400 charging stations across India, ensuring easy access to reliable charging facilities for EV owners.

Explaining the difference between the two types of chargers, Prakash highlighted that AC chargers, while slower, are ideal for overnight home charging. On the other hand, DC chargers offer fast charging, capable of fully charging an EV in just 40 to 45 minutes. Despite the technological advancements.

Prakash assured its prospective customers that SERVOTEC’s products are highly reliable. In the rare event that a customer encounters an issue, the company is committed to providing prompt solutions.

He emphasised that the SERVOTEC’s focus on quality and innovation is helping shape the future of electric mobility in India. As the country moves towards a more sustainable transportation model, companies like SERVOTEC are playing a crucial role in building the infrastructure that will support the widespread adoption of electric vehicles.
